Faculty and Staff Library Resources and Services

This guide gathers resources to assist faculty and staff in using Western's library tools, resources, and services.

How to request a library instruction session

We have a couple of introductory guides on how to find books and articles (Library 101) and how to navigate the research process (Library Research Basics). They can be linked directly from your Blackboard page, and are our most efficient introduction to our library resources and services at Western.

For library instruction, we can go as in-depth or stay as introductory as instructors would like. We find that library instruction is most helpful if it is either very brief or very contextualized.

To schedule a library instruction session or discuss options, please connect with your liaison librarian or reach out to library@westerntc.edu

We can't wait to work with you!
