Basics of creating an OER textbooks using LibreTexts

Add Creative Commons License Information and Publishing

Add the Creative Commons License/Version and Author Tags

Link to Textbook from your Conductor page or navigate to the opening page of your LibreTexts textbooks. Look for  Page Settings at the top of the page select the License and choose CC BY and License Version and choose 4.0.

In the Tags field add an author tag (format below) to pages you have created from scratch. 

  • author@YourName and Western Technical College

This will appear at the bottom of the page. You will need to add an author tag to each of the pages in your OER
