Some Tips for Essay Writing
Once you've found a news article, read it several times and make sure you understand the main points
Check the assignment instructions to make sure you fulfill them
Summarize the article in your own words
Draw a clear connection to a genetic topic covered in class
Include a complete citation for your article at the end of your essay
After you've written your essay, re-read it (preferably out loud) and correct any mistakes you find
