The purpose of the Department of Equity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement is to develop initiatives that empower and support student success for all students, especially underserved populations. We work to build inclusive environments for students and Western community members to feel safe and be their authentic selves. We recognize the intersectional needs of students and strive to build connections between students and resources.
