Build Study Skills (A Quick Guide)

An overview of some basic study skills and strategies to set you up for success in your courses!

Schedule Time for Studying

It’s easy to put off studying if it’s not something we schedule. Schedule specific times for studying. Put the times on your calendar. Stick to the schedule.

This is another reason why it can be helpful to schedule study times with a classmate or a study group since you will be accountable to others and be more likely to make studying a priority.

There is No Magic Time

The important thing isn't the time of day that you study, but that you consistently make time for it. A little bit of time each day is ideal, but isn't always possible.
