Each result from Library Search, includes a button to Share content.
This Share option allows you to send an email to yourself or another person. It also includes the option to copy the link to the result page.
It is also possible to save the links to electronic directly from the article page within the applicable database. Both methods are correct.
Many electronic library resources are restricted to use by Western students and staff. This means that they require a login via Western's Single Sign On in order to access. Our Library Search links and databases generally provide special links that include our proxy prefix. However, it's also possible to manually add our prefix in front of a database link and then paste into the browser. This can be helpful for troubleshooting issues with links.
If needed, our proxy prefix is: https://login.westerntc.idm.oclc.org/login?url=
To construct a proxied link, just paste this in front of your database link.
This method results in a link formatted as follows: https://login.westerntc.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://www.worldcat.org
