It's easier to learn when we are interested in what we are learning! It's easier to read when we're interested in the material!
Literacy is important and foundational to learning in college. It's a lot easier to read complex material when we enjoy the subject. It's also a lot easier to read complex material when we are regularly reading, discussing, and reflecting on readings that interest us.
The Learning Commons has created multiple high interest reading group opportunities for students and there is always room for more! Meeting times, books, stories, articles, etc. are arranged by interested students and faculty. Contact the Learning Commons for more information.
